| Academic Financial Solutions Advises Recent Graduates Not to Delay on College Loan Consolidation
Leading student loan debt consolidation company, Academic Financial Solutions, recommends college loan consolidation before the six month grace period expires in November. Tampa, FL (PRWEB) November 5, 2007 -- Academic Financial Solutions, a leading student loan debt consolidation company based in Tampa, Florida, alerts college graduates who graduated last May or June not to delay on college loan consolidation. Waiting to consolidate will be costly, says Michael Babb, President of Academic Financial Solutions. Many student loan borrowers dont realize that their six-month grace period is expiring until its too late and lenders begin demanding repayment. Its really an unfortunate situation. Many borrowers get caught up in transitioning from college life to finding a job, a place to live and other immediate necessities and lose track of the timing of their repayment obligations.
Ravenstahl decks DeSantis
Pittsburgh Mayor Luke Ravenstahl won easily over Republican challenger Mark DeSantis, beating the underdog 64 percent to 35 percent, with 98 percent of precincts reporting Tuesday night. Ravenstahl, 27, drew on the support of the city's overwhelming Democratic voter registration edge, residual goodwill from the early days of his administration after Mayor Bob O'Connor's death and the promise of putting a young face atop an aging city. DeSantis, who surprised many with his well-financed campaign and the union and newspaper endorsements he garnered, still managed to do only about 7 percentage points better than his predecessor, the little-known Joe Weinroth who was trounced by O'Connor in 2005. .
